You have made it this far in your journey to exploring potential ways to help save a live.  So, here's how you can get started:

1. Who needs training?  Try to figure out an approximate number of participants that need training.  Larger group sizes may need to be broken down into additional classes due to instructor to student ratio requirements.  

2. Determine which course(s) you want to take.  If you are not sure which course(s) to take, please contact us to help you determine which course(s) would be appropriate.

3. Figure out a location.  Essential Training Solutions instructors are willing to travel to you if practical.  If you do not have a location, we have a facility that can be utilized for training.

4. Determine a date and time.  Please try to have a few dates and times to choose from.  Our instructors work full-time jobs and are willing to cater to dates and times within reason.  However, providing a few options can make scheduling easier.

5. Our instructor(s) will meet you on the agreed upon date/time to provide training.  We will confirm dates and times via email/text/phone call 1 to 3 days prior to class. 

Courses & Pricing

Essential Training Solutions teaches American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) Courses in CPR and First Aid.  We understand that lift happens, so if cancellation is required please contact us as soon as possible.  If our instructors do not receive cancellation prior to arriving, a $100 fee will be charged and a deposit will be required prior to another class being scheduled.

BLS Provider

The Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.  

This course teaches the following:

• High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
• The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
• Important early use of an AED
• Effective ventilations using a barrier device
• Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR
• Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

Pricing:

-1 to 5 participants = $60/person

-6 to 12 participants = $55/person

-13+ participants = $50/person

-Hands-On Session Only = $50/person (Must show proof of completion of BLS course through AHA)

Heartsaver CPR/AED

Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

This course teaches the following:

• Describe how high-quality CPR improves survival
• Explain the concepts of the Chain of Survival
• Recognize when someone needs CPR
• Perform high-quality CPR for an adult
• Describe how to perform CPR with help from others
• Give effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups
• Demonstrate how to use an AED on an adult
• Perform high-quality CPR for a child*
• Demonstrate how to use an AED on a child*
• Perform high-quality CPR for an infant*
• Describe when and how to help a choking adult or child
• Demonstrate how to help a choking infant*

Pricing:

-1 to 5 participants = $60/person

-6 to 12 participants = $55/person

-13+ participants = $50/person

-Hands-On Session Only = $50/person (Must show proof of online completion through AHA)

First Aid

The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

This program teaches the following:

• First aid basics
• Medical emergencies
• Injury emergencies
• Environmental emergencies
• Preventing illness and injury

Pricing:

-1 to 5 participants = $20/person

-6 to 12 participants = $15/person

-13+ participants = $10/person

-Hands-On Session Only = $10/person

If you are taking the Heartsaver First Aid course in addition to any of the CPR courses then it is only an additional $10/person to the CPR course price.
